双城故事
该剧由两个女主角：生长在台湾本土中医世家的李念念，工作上面临瓶颈，爱情也出现了问题，为了改变现状，她决定去美国追寻自己的未婚夫；生长在旧金山的电脑工程师Jo,她有一个已经谈婚论嫁的男友，看起来生活一帆风顺，却产生了逃离目前生活的念头，决定回到陌生的台北，寻找父亲记忆里的故乡。两个女孩在台北巧遇，一个微醺的夜晚，两个人决定交换住所三个月，各自开启一段不同的生活。 两个女孩选择离开生长的地方，到一个陌生的城市，一个追爱，一个逃爱，各自上演不同版本的双城故事。从台北来到旧金山的李念念，从小生活在父母的羽翼下，到了旧金山却要一个人重新开始。自己找工作、克服生活上的柴米油盐，她和未婚夫的感情最终还是没能挽回，但认识了一群患难与共的朋友：个性古怪、声称曾在好莱坞发展过的房东汤马森太太、从北京来的中医钱教授、快言快语的华人女租客 Wendy 及新的浪漫对象—知名亚裔主厨Ryan。
