阿成曾经是名优秀的导演，一起凭借一部短片《裙子》获奖无数，但他为人不喜欢趋炎附势，所以渐渐地淡出了影视圈，如今在一所高校做代课老师，教授《影视导演》，但在他的心中还是埋藏着电影梦想。 一天阿成的老相识制片禹亮来学校找到了他，向他询问档期，随即表示自己有一部戏想请阿成做导演。禹亮向阿成吹的天花乱坠，大投资，大制作，院线电影，阿成听着也慢慢动了心，内心又点起了导演梦，同时阿成的师妹也来帮助阿成拍摄影片，但拍摄中却问题不断，老板要求改戏，演员临时罢演，资金突然撤资，每天弄的阿成焦头烂额，演员宁宁也对自己产生了好感，阿成最终排除万难在大家齐心努力下，最后一个镜头拍摄完毕。阿成与师妹吕婷也走到了一起。
